The engine was
factory remanufactured in 1967 and has about 900 hours on
it since then. When the aircraft was restored, the
engine was pulled apart and inspected with the cylinders
being honed and new rings and seals installed. As
you can see, everything looks brand new. The only
things I have done are installing the new Champion
ignition harness and having the mags pulled, inspected,
cleaned and checked for AD compliance. During the
last annual, the engine checked out fine with compression
in the high 70's for all four cylinders. It runs
great and I seem to be burning about 8 gph during cruise
at around 7,000 feet.
