The panel has
been updated with the modern T configuration of
instruments.  In addition to the standard stuff, I
have an EGT meter installed to monitor any of the four
cylinders and a Carburetor Ice Detector (upper left).
The center stack has a Collins audio panel, TKM MX-II
radio, Narco Transponder and a Terra 960 Nav/Com with
Glide Slope.  The Lowrance 100 GPS mounted on the
yoke is a great backup when flying VFR and really improves
situational awareness, especially around special purpose
airspace.  The white Triangle on the right kick panel
is a CO detector made by AIM.  I'm really paranoid
about possible CO build up in the cabin should something
develop a leak.  The original Vacuum Turn & Bank
was replaced with a new RC Allen Electric Turn Coordinator
so that if the vacuum pump failed, I would still have a
gyro reference.  The only other change was removing
the original compass (was in the panel where the Ice
Detector is now) and installed the new SIRS compass on
top.  The compass in the panel was nice but it was
very sensitive to electrics and every time you turned
something on or off, it spun like a top.
