54Z came with a Terra 960 Nav/Com which is a 1970s
era avionic. The unit serves
as my backup comms. I noticed some odd behaviour and decided
to send it off to Ellison Avionics in Waco, TX, for repair and
tune up. They are the last place in the US who works on
these. It came back all checked out and is back in the panel
doing its job.
