Here is an aerial
view of Red Bluff California as I pass going north. The
Sacramento River passes right next to town which was originally
built on the "red bluffs" overlooking the river. In the
1800's, riverboats use to churn their way up from Sacramento and
depending upon the river level, might make it as far as Redding,
30 miles further north. |
